Deformation localization behavior research of AZ31 magnesium alloy under impact load

چکیده

Abstract The dynamic mechanical properties of AZ31 magnesium alloys were analyzed under different strain rates by using a separated Hopkinson pressure bar system. microstructure the specimens was observed optical microscopy. results show that yield strength alloy is insensitive to rate. compressive increasing and shear deformation localization behavior more obvious with increase in Meanwhile, temperature within band about 241 k meets twinning recrystallization temperature. Temperature rise promotes grain refining effect.
